Ballard distopies have foreseen what is more and more a reality nowdays: human actions and pollution impact heavily on climate and the planet. Despite the palm trees in Piazza Duomo has been criticized as those trees would not be in tune with the typical climate of the city, global warming is already changing the environment all around us.
